📖 Rules & Stacking Technique
1. Timing is Everything
Blocks slide back and forth across the screen. Tap at the exact instant the block aligns with the tower underneath.
2. Sliced Overhangs
Any portion of the block extending past the edges of the stack below is sliced off! Your block gets narrower with every imperfect drop.
3. Perfect Drop Combos
Align a block with 100% precision to trigger a Perfect Drop. Land 3 perfect drops in a row to earn bonus block width!
4. End Condition
If a block completely misses the top of the tower without touching, the block falls into the abyss and the game ends.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play Block Stacker?
Tap the screen or press Spacebar to drop the moving block directly onto the block below it. Any overhang gets sliced off, making the next block narrower!
What is a Perfect Drop?
A Perfect Drop occurs when you line up the moving block exactly with the top of the stack below. Doing 3 perfect drops in a row widens your block back out!
Does Block Stacker save my highest stack score?
Yes! Your tallest tower height is automatically saved in your browser's local storage.
Is Block Stacker mobile friendly?
Yes! Tap anywhere on the game canvas or use the large touch button to drop blocks instantly.
